AVAILABILITY OF FREQUENCY SLOTS IN THE 5.4 GHz BAND IN ALL STATES OF THE FEDERATION 

 The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in exercise of its functions enshrined in the Nigeria Communication ACT NCA‐2003 do hereby inform interested parties as follows:  

1. That there are available slots in the 5.4 GHz band with Bandwidth and Licensing areas listed in table below:

 2. Slot 1 and Slot 2 will be licensed on a Region by Region basis. Each 

Region will represent a license.  

3. Slot 3 to Slot 7 will be licensed on a State by State basis. Each State will represent a license.  

4. Interested applicants should download Wireless Local Loop (WLL) application form from the Commission’s website and complete it in triplicate and submit to the Commission on or before 20/3/2015.

5. The following should be furnished with the application:  

a. Roll Out for each of the States/Regions requested indicating the number of sties targeted by year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 of the licenses. 

 

b. Evidence of technical competence to deploy the licenses. Including as the case may be relationship with Technical partners. 

 

c. Evidence of financial capacity to support the Roll Out target.  

6.  Please note that received applications will be processed after this deadline.  

7. Also note that applicants that applied during the earlier publication of November, 2014 need not re‐apply.
