New Delhi, the 29th October, 2018

G.S.R. 364.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) and clause (a) of sub- section (2) of

section 18 of the Central Reserve Police Force Act, 1949 (66 of 1949), the Central Government hereby makes the

following rules regulating the method of recruitment for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector( X Ray Technician),

Assistant Sub Inspector(Nursing Assistant/Medic), Head Constable(Physiotherapy Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Medic ),

Head Constable(ANM/Midwife), and Head Constable (Dialysis Technician) of Group- ‘C’ posts in the Central

Reserve Police Force, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Central Reserve Police Force, Group

‘C’ (Combatised Para Medical posts ) Recruitment Rules- 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette.

2. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.— The number of posts, their classification,

level in pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications, etc.— The method of recruitment, age- limit,

qualifications and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid

Schedule.

4. Disqualification.— No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal

law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt

any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Medical Fitness.— For combatised staff promotion from one post to another in any grade or rank or post

included in the Schedule, individual shall be required to confirm to medical category SHAPE- I as prescribed by the

Government .

6. Liability of service.— Any person appointed to the said posts under these rules shall be liable to serve

anywhere in India or abroad.

7. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may,

by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect of any class or

category of persons.

8,. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age- limit and other concessions required to

be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of person in

accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

class pass of equivalent with Science subjects (i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized Board

or University;

(ii) should possess diploma or certificate course of two years duration in radio diagnosis techniques or X-Ray imagine

techniques or equivalent from an institution recognised by Central Government or State Government.

Note 1: The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately

preceding the appointment in same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall not

ordinary exceed three years.

Note 2 : The departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible

for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for

appointment by promotion.

Note 3 : The Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 52 years as on closing date of

receipt of application.
