ROAD

The city is easily reached via the M58,M56 & M62 motorways. Liverpool citycentre is approximately 45 minutesdrive from Chester, Manchester andNorth Wales; just over one hour fromBlackpool, the Lake District, YorkshireMoors and the Peak District NationalParks and just over four hours fromLondon. On leaving the motorways,follow signs for the city centre and theUniversity. If you wish to park oncampus, you will need a permit whichyou can obtain from the departmentyou are visiting.

COACHThe National Express coach station is in Norton Street, a 10 minute walkfrom the Campus. From the exit, turnright and cross London Road intoSeymour Street and Russell Street.Then turn left on to Brownlow Hill andhead towards the MetropolitanCatholic Cathedral.

FERRYMersey Ferries operates between PierHead in Liverpool and Birkenhead andWallasey in Wirral. You can also sail toLiverpool from Belfast, Dublin and theIsle of Man. On arrival in the city, follow signs for Lime Street Station orthe Catholic Cathedral then follow the directions above.

RAIL

The campus is approximately 10 minutes walk from the nearestmainline station at Lime Street. Leave through the station’s main exitand turn left into Lime Street. Turn leftagain at the Britannia Adelphi Hoteland continue up Brownlow Hilltowards the Metropolitan CatholicCathedral, the University’s red brickVictoria Building with its clocktower,and the Foundation Building, theUniversity’s headquarters.
