ENTRY

The attorney examiner finds:

(1) On July 9, 2012, Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. (Duke) filed anapplication seeking Commission authority to increase electricdistribution rates, to update its tariffs, and to change certainaccounting methods.

(2) By entry issued on January 18, 2013, the attorney examiner,inter alia, set the hearing in this matter to commence onMarch 25, 2013. On March 25, 2013, the hearing was calledand continued.

(3) On March 25, 2013, the parties filed a joint motion to continuethe hearing to April 3, 2013. In support of their motion, theparties explain that they have reached a settlement of thesematters and will file a stipulation and supporting testimonyby 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Therefore, the partiesrequest that the hearing on the stipulation commence onApril 3, 2013.

(4) Upon consideration of the parties motion, the attorneyexaminer finds that the motion to continue the hearing shouldbe granted. Accordingly, the attorney examiner finds thatthe evidentiary hearing will continue at 2:00 p.m. inHearing Room 11-A, at the offices of the Commission,180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. The stipulationand all supporting testimony should be filed by 10:00 a.m. onApril 2, 2013.

ORDERED, That parties motion to continue the hearing be granted. It is, further,

ORDERED, That the parties adhere to the procedural schedule set forth infinding (4). It is, further,
