She suggested that the SNTC receive a presentation on the Transportation 2040 model results at a future meeting. Gil briefly mentioned upcoming agenda items for the September TOC meeting. Staci briefly covered the recent work of the TDM Steering Committee. She suggested that Alex Krieg make a presentation to the SNTC on the update to the TDM Action. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Information: Regional Emergency Management/Transportation for Vulnerable Populations Coordination (Zoë Jorna, Hopelink & Randy Fay, Snohomish County Emergency Management) Zoë Jorna and Randy Fay gave a presentation on the Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET)’s work. The goal of this project is to increase the preparedness and ability of special needs transportation providers to assist individuals with access and functional needs who are often disproportionately affected during the disaster. The presenters shared process and results of several training workshops and targeted public outreach activities conducted by the RARET project. Over the next two years, the RARET group will provide between 4 to 8 additional workshops or trainings. Discussion: Coordinated Plan Update Review – (Jean Kim & Gil Cerise, PSRC)

• Updating Needs & Gaps, and Prioritized Strategies based upon targeted outreach feedback

• Emergency Management for Vulnerable Populations Update

• Inventory of Services Update

Jean Kim, PSRC, provided a summary of PSRC’s Coordinated Plan update status. In order to update the “Planning for Emergency” section in the existing Coordinated Plan, PSRC staff solicited feedback from the RARET group and incorporated the feedback. For the “Inventory of Services” chapter update, mobility managers helped PSRC staff to refresh the inventory list. Draft documents of “Planning for Emergency” and “Inventory of Services” were included in the September SNTC meeting agenda packet.

Jean and Gil gave a brief presentation on the preliminary results of the targeted outreach on “Mobility Needs & Gaps” and “Goals and Prioritized Strategies” chapters of the Plan. PSRC staff shared a list of emerging mobility needs in the region identified based on the literature review, targeted public outreach and online survey. In addition, Gil shared the draft proposal relating to Prioritized Strategies with the committee. PSRC staff will convene a Coordinated Plan workshop to focus updating the “Goals and Prioritized Strategies” chapter and will continue to solicit feedback on the draft documents from the committee. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Discussion: PSRC Project Selection Task Force Update - (Gil Cerise, PSRC)

Gil Cerise revisited the topic of PSRC Project Selection Task Force. The Project Selection Task Force is being convened this fall, to provide direction and make recommendations on the policies and procedures for the 2018 project selection process. The Task Force had a initial meeting on September 14th. The group will be also addressing the special needs grant competition in the upcoming meetings. PSRC staff will follow up with the committee on the meeting dates. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Discussion: Local Coalition Reports / Emerging Issues

• Snohomish County Coalition (SNOTRAC) – Marianna Hanefeld, Everett Transit, announced that SNOTRAChad a biannual partners and executive committee meeting on September 19th.

• King County Coalition (KCMC) – Staci Haber, Hopelink, reported to the committee that Hopelink restructuredits mobility management staff recently. Staci announced KCMC events and activities for upcoming months.The City for All Hackathon will be held in Seattle on September 22nd and Snoqualmie Valley TransportationCoalition’s needs assessment will be conducted in the next few weeks. She also announced KCMC Accessto Healthcare Committee meeting (Oct. 4th), Provail’s IncluCity event (Oct. 5th), Community Transportation TripSeries (Oct. 13th, Northshore Senior Center), Volunteer Driver Summit (Oct. 25th), and Seattle Stand Downresource fair (Dec. 14-15th) events.

• Pierce County Coalition (PCCTC) – Jerri Kelly, Pierce County Human Services, reported that PCCTC’sstrategy team meeting is going to be held in fall and the group will discuss updates to its local transportationplan.

• Wade Mahala, Community Transit, introduced Margaret Keckler, Community Transit Paratransit Coordinator,to the committee.
