Shri Vile Parle Kelvani Mandal (SVKM) is a public charitable trust. SVKM has always been committed to the cause of providing high quality education at various levels. The Mandal today has evolved into a big educational complex imparting high level education to more than 32,000 students. The ethos of the Mandal which is inspired by patriotic fervor, self-less service and the spirit of indigenous enterprise, has its genesis in the days of freedom. OverOver the past 70 years, the Mandal has developed large educational complex in Vile Parle with a strong vision and passion for being the pioneers of modern education. Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (DJSCOE) was established in the year 1994 by SVKM. The favourable location of the institute in the heart of Mumbai, along with world class facilities and distinguished faculty, has become a nurturing ground for students of high academic capabilities. In a short span, the college has come to be recognised as a premier institute of technical institution and has been accredited with an A+ grade certificate from The Directorate ofof Technical Education, Mumbai University.

NATIONAL LEVEL IC ENGINE CAR COMPETITIONAn IC (Internal Combustion) Engine Car Competition is a racing event in which people all over from the country make cars which run on an IC Engine.The engine capacity is around 3.3cc and car has the capacity to go upto 120 kmph.The engine capacity is around 3.3cc and car has the capacity to go upto 120 kmph. This competition is very interesting and fan attracting event. The car runs on nitromethane fuel and and use steering mechanisms for control. We come across all the basic mechanical principles to build a car of such intricacy and students fabricate the car on their own and then a race is conducted. The cars are of different range based on design and engines and during an event like this we have a exhibition of all these kinds of cars.It runs on a dedicated 500 meter track and the car is controlled by a 2.4ghz remote control.
