Pumpsense is a specialist manufacturer of centrifugal pumps.The standard split case range, HS/HST, includes over sixtyframes and is one of the most comprehensive ranges of splitcase pumps in the industry.
These pumps have been designed with a sophisticatedunderstanding of the needs of the various user segments. Pumpshave extended best efficiency zones & low noise and vibrationcharacteristics for energy efficient and environment friendlyoperation. Further, their ruggedness ensures long years oftrouble-free operation.
RangeA comprehensive range spanning over 60 models, designedaround seven shaft groups, with nominal impeller diameters of300mm, 360mm, 400mm, 440mm, 540mm & 660mm, meet thestandard requirements of all segments. Discharge range extendsto 800 l/s with Heads up to 230m at 1450 rpm. Large customengineered units are also available on request.
Superior Hydraulic Performance
Stable Head-Capacity Characteristics: Facilitates capacityregulation and smooth operation when two or more pumps areoperating in parallel.
Low NPSHR: Ensures high suction lift capability and protects thepump from cavitation erosion without compromising efficiency orsmooth operation at part flows.
Non-overloading power characteristics: Keeps the motorrating low
Superior Mechanical Features
Easy access: With the top half casing removed, the completerotating assembly can be withdrawn by the simple removal offour bearing housing ‘top clamp’ bolts; no need to dismantlebearings.
Straightforward Piping: Pipe layout made easy with suction anddischarge flanges on the same centerline for single stage pumps.
Impellers: Are designed for optimum efficiency. They are doublesuction for single stage pumps and are dynamically balanced.
Casing Wear rings: Fitted as standard, simple heavy rectangularcross-section with “tongue & groove” arrangement to preventrotation. Impeller wear rings are optional on all models.
High Strength shaft: The shaft is generously sized to covermaximum loading and supported by two grease lubricateddeep groove ball bearings. Shaft design ensures minimumdeflection and improved life for bearings, wear rings and shaftseals. Shafts are protected by shaft sleeves in packed glandpumps.
Stuffing Box: Easily converted for use with soft-packing ormechanical seals. All pump casings are pre-drilled and tappedto easily facilitate either option.
Double Volute Casings: All high head pumps have double volutecasings to minimize radial loading during part flow operation
Optional ArrangementsOne of our major strengths is our ability to provide customizeddesigns and product variants quickly and economically. Bottomsuction, vertical dry pit and side suction/top dischargearrangements can all be provided against specific customerrequirements.

A comprehensive range of horizon-tal and vertical dry pit sewagepumps are available to cover a widerange of duties at four pole, six poleand eight pole speeds.
Our single stage range of NFPA20fire pumps cover duties up to5000usgpm and beyond. Pumps canbe supplied with certification byindependent inspection agencies.
Standard split case range coversboth single and two stage pumps forcapacities up to 3000 m3/hr andheads up to 200m. Many customizedoptions are available
Side Suction, Top Delivery Slit CasePump, 600 m3/hr, 130m at 1800 rpm.This pump is extensively used forexternal fire fighting application ships(FIFI Duty).
Large end suction pumps cover sizesup to 400mm. These pumps areavailable for air conditioning,industrial cooling water supply, andmarine external fire services.
Two stage split case pumps areavailable for high pressure cleaning andhigh head industrial applications.Pumps are offered with both internaland external cross-overs for capacitiesup to 1200m3/hr and heads up to 400m.
Single stage double volute split casepumps are offered both in horizontaland vertical shaft configuration.Customised designs are offered forspecial applications.
CSC, New Generation Compact SplitCase Pumps, offer high energy effi-ciency, optimum mechanical reliabilityand smallest foot print for air conditioningand industrial casting applications.These pumps are also offered in verticaland high pressure configurations.
Test Bed at Pumpsense is fullycompliant with the requirements of ISO9906. Test set up is completelyautomated for flow control and dataacquisition. We also undertake com-plete test bed design and supply oftest equipment.
