THE PERIMETER DECK, AND ALL METAL ANCHORS, INSERTS, FITTINGS, LIGHT NICHES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE POOL AND WITHIN 5'-0" HORIZONTALLY FROM THE INSIDE WALLS OF EACH POOL AND EQUIPMENT WITHIN 12'-0" VERTICALLY ABOVE THE MAXIMUM WATER LEVEL, AS WELL AS ALL MECHANICAL EQUPMENT IN THE POOL MECHANICAL ROOM, AND ALL WATERSLIDE START TOWER AND WATERSLIDE FLUME SUPPORT STEEL, MUST BE BONDED TOGETHER PER NEC ARTICLE 680 TO FORM AN EQUIPOTENTIAL BONDING GRID. FURTHER, DUE TO THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTROLLING ELECTRICAL CURRENTS IN AND AROUND THE POOL, THE BODING SYSTEM SHOULD BE TAKEN BACK AND CONNECTED TO A POSITIVE, TRUE AND ADEQUATE GROUND, AND THAT THE GROUND BE TESTED AND CERTIFIED AS A CONDITION OF ACCEPTANCE.
2. ALL ITEMS LISTED ABOVE MUST BE BONDED TOGETHER WITH A SOLID COPPER CONDUCTOR NOT SMALLER THAN 8 AWG WITH LISTED PRESSURE CONNECTORS, TERMINAL BARS, EXOTHERMIC WELDING, OR OTHER LISTED MEANS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC 250.8(A).
