Paper Sizes:

• One 9-13/16” x 12” patterned paper or cardstock for purse

• One 4-1/4” x 7-1/2” coordinated paper or cardstock for lid

• One 1” x 10-1/2” strip for handle Supplies:

• Scor-Pal

• Scor-Mat

• Scor-Tape

• Craft Knife

• Metal edged ruler

• Ribbon Step 1 – purse Align the 9-13/16th side to the top fence at 3/32nds (this is just a sliver before the 1/8th marking) and score at 4” and 6”.

Step 2 Rotate ¼ turn so the 12” side is at the top fence, left side. Score between the score lines at 4” and 8” Tip: use a ruler to ensure you are lining up on the correct score line.

Step 3 Make pencil marks at 3” and 9” along each 12” edge – 4 marks total.

Step 4 Insert Scor-Mat. Using a craft knife and metal edged ruler cut from where the score lines intersect to each pencil mark. 4 cuts total.

Step 5 Rotate paper so the 9-13/16th side is at the top fence. Line up previously scored lines to any inch marking (black lines on Scor-Mat), ensure top and bottom are on the same line. Using a craft knife and metal edged ruler cut 1” flaps (line up ruler 1” from scored line) from each edge of paper to the previously cut lines.

Step 6 Pre-fold all scores. Attach Scor-Tape to each flap.

Step 7 Remove liner from tape and adhere flaps to inside to form purse.

Step 8 – lid Align the 4-1/4” piece of cardstock to the top fence, left side, and score at ½” and 2-1/2”.

Step 9 Rotate ¼ turn, align the 7-1/2” side to the ¼” mark at the top fence, left side, and score at 1” and 7”.

Step 10 With the larger scored area at the bottom, aligned to the top fence, left side, make 2 pencil marks along the bottom 7-1/2” edge at 2” and 5-1/2”.

Step 11 With a craft knife and metal edged ruler (or scissors) cut from where the score lines intersect to each pencil mark – 2 cuts total.

Step 12 Angle cut side flaps and back flap. Attach Scor-Tape to back flap.

Step 13 Prefold all scores.

Step 14 Remove liner and adhere lid to inside purse form.

Step 15 Cut two 1-1/8” slits in lid for handle. For ease of placement, I just used the width of the ruler from the score line for spacing of distance between slits.

Step 16 - handle Align the 10-1/2” side to the top fence, left side, and score at 1” and 9-1/2”. Attach Scor Tape and pre-fold strip. Slide through slits in lid, remove tape liner and adhere inside lid top.

Finished purse Tie a ribbon around purse for closure. Or use magnets or velcro attached to lid flap and purse, if desired.
