She earned her B.A. in Human Behavior from Skidmore College. He is a 3 time Division III Cross Country All American, a 5 time qualifier for NCAAs as well as a SUNYAC Hall of Fame Inductee. He recently won his age group with a 9th place overall finish at Ironman Maryland, qualifying him to compete in the 2017 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. > Join forces with our team of specialized trainers and coaches equipped with the knowledge and experience to drive you to a higher level of fitness, strength and education that is personally aligned with your goals. This brand new program was developed to push you harder through an 8 week curriculum consisting of a weekly classroom session followed by an intense group workout designed exclusively for our LEVEL UP participants. Classes include topics such as the importance of exercise variation and cross-training for performance, meal prep, basic nutrition, human anatomy and physiology, the mind-body connection and behind the scenes tips.

> Justin has been with our Y since July 2013. He is currently a student at SUNY Plattsburgh and will be graduating in Fall 2017, earning his B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics with a current GPA of 3.88. Additionally, he holds an Associate’s degree from SUNY Adirondack in Liberal Arts/Math/ Science. Justin has competed in six body building shows and ten powerlifting competitions since 2008. Outside of his weight training Justin enjoys hiking and outdoor cycling, having completed a 600 mile cycling trip through Nova Scotia, CA.

> April has been a longtime YMCA member and fitness enthusiast, April recently joined our Wellness Team in December 2016. She is a Y-USA Certified Personal Trainer and has competed in 11 bodybuilding competitions in the Figure Division since 2010. She earned USBF Figure Pro-qualification in 2011, IFPA (now known as International Pro Elite) Figure Pro-qualification in 2013, and most recently earned WNBF Figure Pro-qualification in 2016. She brings to this program her knowledge and experience not only in Bodybuilding style training, but also with many of the “behind the scenes” aspects of bodybuilding such as: posing presentation in both figure and bikini divisions, how to meal prep, choosing the right competition and division, choosing a competition suit, tanning, hair & makeup tips, “peak week” and how to prepare for it, competition day tips, as well as how to manage post-competition reintegration.

> Bob has been here at the GF YMCA since December 2013 as an Indoor Cycling Instructor. Bob holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh. He is an ACE Certified PersonalTrainer, FiTour Indoor Cycling Instructor as well as an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard. He is an avid cyclist, riding 20,000 miles a year. His training focuses primarily on cardio endurance and functional resistance.
