Please also be aware of the wider road closures across the event route in London and Surrey. For further event information, visit prudentialridelondon.co.uk/road-closures
EVENTS TAKING PLACE ON SUNDAY 4 AUGUST 2019Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 19, Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 46 & Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100. Mass-participation rides over 19, 46 and 100 mile distances for 30,000 cyclists – passing locally from 09:20 until 17:20.

ROAD CLOSURE TIMES The event route is closed to traffic from 07:30 to approximately 19:30. This includes Tibbets Ride, Putney Hill, Putney High Street, Putney Bridge (southbound) and New King’s Road. The A3 slip roads at both Coombe Lane and Tibbet’s Corner will be closed.
All roads in the area will remain closed for a period after the event has passed. Roads will be reopened as soon as possible when it is safe and practical.
PEDESTRIAN CROSSING POINTSExisting signalled crossings along the event route will be under marshal supervision to help you across the road throughout the day. A large box crossing will be in operation outside Putney rail station. All pedestrian crossing points will be temporarily closed to allow the professional race to pass through from 17:45-18:05.
PARKINGVehicles, including motorcycles, cannot park on the event route from 00:01 on Sunday 4 August 2019.
Any vehicle left on the route or parked in a suspended parking bay will be removed from 04:00. Free Sunday parking is available on many roads just outside the road closure area. Please check local signs.
GETTING ABOUTThe A3 is open but may be busy during peak hours. For northbound routes from Wandsworth, it is advisable
to follow A3 West Hill exiting at Roehampton Lane towards Barnes. Vehicles can then either follow Queens Ride and Lower Richmond Road for Putney Bridge in both directions.
The following areas will be very busy:
Hammersmith – Hammersmith Flyover which will be closed from 05:00 to 12:30. Hammersmith gyratory is open but will be very busy.
