Signature ProgramsUniversity Transfer Programs • 3+1 transfer programs in Biology and Pre-Medicine with Grand Canyon University. • 3+1 transfer program with the School of Medicine program in Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. • Northern Arizona University offers bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and other majors as well.

Peak Leadership Institute • PVCC offers students a variety of options to learn and apply leadership skills that apply to daily life. • A few classes and programs offered are Emerging Leaders and Peer Mentor Training. • There have been many success stories from students that have graduated from this program.

PVCC Points of PrideChinese Terracotta Soldiers and Horse • Replicas of ancient statues from a 246 B.C. to 208 B.C. era under China’s fi rst Emperor Qin.

Scale Model Solar System • Stretches the length of four football fi elds. Beginning with the Sun at the northwest corner and ending with

Pluto in the south entrance of the school. Every step you take in our model is equal to 15 billion steps in the actual solar system. And because this is a true scale model, when you stand at the Earth station and look at our Sun sphere, it will appear exactly the same size as the Sun does in the sky.

Q Building• It is the new home to PVCC’s Math Division, Center for Teaching and Learning, Continuing Education, and sev-

eral general education classrooms. • Solar tubes were added throughout much of the building for natural light.

Life Science• The new Life Sciences Building is designed to provide state-of-the-art science and learning spaces and an en-

hanced campus-learning environment for PVCC. • Sustainable Design practices are used throughout to limit the non-renewable energy usage and material con-

sumption.

Nathan K. BrownParadise Valley Community College, my sanctuary of intellectual enlightenment.

Where I have come to grow into a man and have found a community to help

me to the next step. I have found people with both like minds and opposing

viewpoints, willing to engage in the competition of ideas.

Lauren RoseI have nothing but great experience at Paradise Valley Community College. The

best part has been Phi Theta Kappa. It makes me strive to do well academically

and motivates me to stay as a full time student. Phi Theta Kappa also helps me

connect with peers and faculty on campus through service. Overall, my time at

PVCC has been great!
