1. Product Introduction

Clenergy PV-ezRack Universal Klip-lok Interface, fixing on crown/rib of metal

sheet tin roof, is designed for tin roof and used for connecting metal sheet roof

and rail. Thanks to multifunctional design, the Universal Klip-lok Interface can

be compatible with most common metal sheet roof over the market.

Please review this manual thoroughly prior to installing PV-ezRack Universal

Klip-lok Interface.

When installed in accordance with this guide, the PV-ezRack Universal

Klip-lok Interface parts will be structurally adequate and adhere to the

AS/NZS1170.2:2011, ADMT 3-2012 standard. During installation please

comply with the appropriate occupational health and safety regulations. Please

also pay attention to other relevant regulations of your local region. Please

check that you are using the latest version of the installation manual by

contacting Clenergy via email at [email protected], or by contacting

your local distributor.

2.3 Attention

PV-ezRack Universal clamp is compatible with most common metal sheet over

the market, including Standing Seam 8 &20 &22, Angularity 18& 25 or Klip-lok

400-700HS and 406 as below.




3. Installation Instruction (Used without Rail)

3.1 Install the Klip-lok Interface on the roof sheet.

Mark the Install position according to the drawing.

Install the Klip-lok Interface in the specified location.

Fasten the bolts M8 tightly by wrench within 10-12 N.m.

3.2 Install the End/Inter Clamp on the Klip-lok Interface.

Put the End/Inter Clamp on the Klip-lok Interface. Don’t fasten the bolt before installing

the PV module.

3.3 Install the PV module

Put the PV module on the Klip-lok Interface. Adjust the installation position and then

fasten the End Clamp.

Put the second PV module on the Klip-lok Interface. Adjust the installation position

and then fasten the Inter clamp and the End Clamp.

Install other PV modules and fasten the bolt of the Inter/End Clamp with the torque

18-20 N.m respectively.

4. Installation Instruction (Used with rail+Rail Clamp)

4.1 Install the Klip-lok Interface on the roof sheet. (Refer to 3.1)

4.2 Install the Cross Connector Clamp of ECO-Rail on the Klip-lok

Interface

Install the Cross Connector Clamp of ECO-Rail on the Klip-lok Interface. Don’t fasten

the bolt of the Rail Clamp before installing the ECO-Rail.

4.3 Install the ECO-Rail on the Klip-lok Interface

Put the ECO-Rail on the Klip-lok Interface, uplift the Rail Clamp and fit the rail

channels into the Rail Clamp. Fasten the bolt of Rail Clamp with the torque 18-20 N.m

after Rail is properly positioned.

4.4 Install the End/Inter Clamp on the ECO-Rail.

Mark the position for the End/Inter Clamp on the Rail and then put them onto the Rail

in the specified location.

4.5 Install PV module

Put the PV module on the Rail. Adjust the position and then fasten the End clamp with

the torque 18-20 N.m .

Put the second PV module on the Rail. Adjust the position and then fasten the

Inter/End clamp with the torque 18-20 N.m.

5. Installation Instruction (Used with rail+Tin Interface)

5.1 Install the Klip-lok Interface on the roof sheet (Refer to 3.1)

5.2 Install the Tin Interface on the Klip-lok Interface .

Install the Tin Interface on the top of Klip-lok Interface, fasten the bolt on the bottom of

the Tin Interface with the torque 18-20N.m after the position is fixed.

5.3 Install the ECO-Rail on the Tin Interface.

Install the ECO-Rail on Tin Interface. Fasten the bolt of bolt with the torque 18-20 N.m.

after Rail is properly positioned.

5.4 Install the solar module

Refer to 4.4-4.5. to Install the End/Inter Clamp and the PV module.

6. Stainless Steel Fastener Installation Precautions

Improper operation may lead to deadlock of Bolts and Nut. Follow the steps below to

reduce this risk

1) Reduce the friction coefficient

− Ensure that the thread surface is clean and free of dirt or contaminant;

− Apply lubricant (grease or 40# engine oil) to fasteners prior tightening to avoid

galling or seizing in the threads;

2) General installation instructions

− Apply force to fasteners in the direction of thread;

− Apply force uniformly, to maintain required torque;

− Professional tools and tool belts are recommended;

− Avoid using electric tools for final tightening;

− Avoid working at high temperatures.
