In 2010, we are celebrating 75 years of recreation and preservation. Florida’s 160 state parks offer white sandy beaches, lush semi-tropical forests, cultural sites and crystal clear springs. Join us for affordable, family-friendly activities,

such as swimming, hiking, bicycling, paddling, fishing, camping, horseback riding, birding, photography, events and ranger-led tours. To learn about 75th Anniversary events, contests and discounts visit www.FloridaStateParks.org and follow us on Twitter: @FLSTATEPARKS.

• Fishing, boating, swimming and fires are allowed in designated areas only. A Florida fishing license may be required.

• Always hike on marked trails. It’s easy to get lost.

• Pets must be confined, leashed or under physical

control at all times. Leashes may not exceed six feet in length. Please pick up after your pets.

• A helmet is required for all bicycle riders younger than 16.

• All boaters under age 13 must wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket.

• Alcoholic beverages are allowed in designated areas only.

• Fireworks and hunting are prohibited in all state parks.

• For a complete list of regulations, ask at any ranger station.

Welcome to your Florida State Parks! We hope you have the safest, most enjoyable visit possible. Start by reviewing these tips and guidelines. If you have questions or concerns, contact state park staff for assistance.• Park hours are 8 a.m.

until sunset, 365 days a year. Museum hours may vary.

• Florida’s sunshine provides for recreation year-round. Remember to use sunscreen and bug repellent. Drink lots of water to remain hydrated.
