Comparing my main task final product and preliminary task you can see a big difference and how my knowledge has grown.

I’ve followed the forms and conventions of a magazine more closely in my main task and have also managed to fill more whitespace in an uncluttered way.

My photography and editing has developed providing a much clearer image which has more relevance to what the magazine is about.

Also, I have developed the brand identity in my music magazine and I’ve used a variation of fonts to make it more interesting as well as having obvious house colours and features of the masthead.

Also, in comparing my two contents pages you can see how my images are more relevant and how my knowledge of forms and conventions has grown.

The layout is much better organized in my main task where as in my preliminary task the pages are all out of order and there is no clear structure to my magazine.

I’ve also managed to use up white space more effectively and provide more information on the page than in the previous task. The fonts I’ve used are more relevant to the magazine and also help towards the brand identity. The editing of the images has improved a lot as you can actually tell what the image is about.

Also, the contents page is clearly linked with the front page where as in my preliminary task you can’t really see this.
