I feel that my media product doesn’t represent any particular social group. This is because I have taken the same style as Q magazines. In Q magazines they have appealed to all audiences which is what I have tried to do in mine. I have mentioned on the front of my magazine a number of different music artists such as Mc fly, Kaiser Chiefs, Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga. These musical artists are very different in the types of music that is preformed by them. This is how I have aimed my music magazine to all kinds of different social groups, hopefully there will be at least one are inside the magazine which they are interested in which would result in them buying the magazine.

Although I feel my music magazine appeals to all different social groups I do however feel it might appeal more to the rock/indie kinds of people. This is simply because of the colour scheme I have chosen. I have chosen to use the colours Black, Red and white. These are the three colours which you tend to see on the front of a rock band magazine. I have also added my central photograph in which is meant to help balance it all out, this should help suggest it isn't a rock music magazine, she isn't wearing rock clothing and there is nothing about the photograph which implies she is rock.

Distribution

The types of institutions which may distribute my magazine is shops and supermarkets. This is because it is similar to excising magazines and many people find this is the easiest way to get hold of magazines. Most people go to a supermarket or the shops a couple of times a week, the bright colours on the front of the magazines will attract their attention making them want to buy the magazine.
