QTPC provides NDT - Ultrasonic Testing Courses and Examinations suitable for PCN certification schemes at Levels 1 and 2.In the British Institute of NDT Personnel Certification (PCN) scheme, Ultrasonic Testing is separated into three specific product sectors for certification purposes. These are: • Welds • Wrought Products (Forgings) • Castings

The welds sector is further sub-divided into the following groups: • Plate Butt welds • Pipe Butt welds • Constructional “T” joint • Nozzles • NodesAn example of the syllabus that is used for ultrasonic examination training courses is shown below for Levels 1 and 2.SGS can tailor the syllabus to satisfy the requirements of an individual company's specific written practice if requested.

Practical Examination:Follow written instructions and process the inspection test pieces, record and report defects from known datum markers, carry out pre-test calibration checks, post-test procedures.

Professional ExperienceWorked as a member in pressure vessel task force team in preparation of procedures, coordination with Authorized Inspection Agency & ASME representative and successfully obtained / renewed the license to use S, U & U2 stamps from ASME for manufacturing power boilers & pressure vessels in NPCC.

Worked a QA Engineer in-charge of the QA, QC Department of FTV Proclad (U.A.E.), established the entire Quality Manage-ment System starting from scratch implemented the Quality System and obtained ISO-9002 Certification to the company in a record time of 10 months from the date of establishment of the company. Also fine tuned all the system procedures to meet API Q1 requirements to enable the company to register with API to obtain license for use of API Monogram for different products/-services offered by the company.

Rejoined National Petroleum Construction Company as Lead QA/QC & NDT Engineer and established a full-fledged NDT Training and Certification Program for all NDT Personnel working in the field of Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing & Dye Penetrant Testing.
