• For 2009, 41% (80 out of 197) of student artifacts were assessed as being at the “Competent” level or higher. This is up from 37% in 2008.• The overall CT average for all assessed
artifacts from 16 Gen Ed sections was 2.31 (Developing/Competent), up from 2.23 in 2008.

CT learning outcomes, best practices, and assessment strategies have been
documented for 95 courses in Arts & Sciences and Technical/Vocational divisions

Assessing student perceptions of critical thinking emphasis via course evaluations (including DL courses) and surveys, including campus forum surveys
