installation, working of power load as per
user’s requirements. Preparation of de-
tailed budgets.

MECHANICAL
1. To suggest Clients / Architects / Inte-
rior Designers the best offer in terms of
overall experience of the bidder along
with his Costs and compliance with our
Specifications that being decided for that
particular project.
2. To conduct Site meetings with Clients
/ Architects / Interior Designers / Con-
tractors / Structural agencies / Electrical
agencies periodically to ensure smooth &
timely completion of the project.
3. To assess bills and certify the same of
the Air conditioning & Ventilation contrac-
tors.
4. To carry out the documentation work
involving : 3 sets of As Built drawings of
the commissioned AC & Ventilation sys-
tem. 3 sets of Catalogues and other rel-
evant charts of the Equipment involved. 3
sets of Handing over and Commissioning
reports duly signed in by the Customer.
5. To undertake proof consultancy servic-
es for major corporate powerhouses for
their regular proposed projects at various
locations throughout India. This we offer
normally for Banking , Insurance compa-
nies, Retail outlets etc.
6. To cross check the overall design pa-
rameters, proposed tonnage, type of
equipments, overall costing for carrying
out the entire scope of Supply, Instal-
lation, Testing & Commissioning of the
entire AC system as a whole as proposed
by the appointed architects / consultants.

STAGE 11.1 Receive an initial statement of re-
quirements and provide an outline of
possible courses of action. Establish con-
tact with other members of the design
team and agree formal communication
procedures.
1.2 Develop a project brief by means of
reports, questionnaires and close relation
with the Client, Architect and other mem-
bers of the project team. The reports will
include the different alternative methods
of the air conditioning system together
with advantages, disadvantages and ap-
proximate budget cost of each method.
STAGE 22.1 Agree with the other members of the
design team a program for all subse-
quent Work Stages taking into account
the scope and extent of the duties re-
quired.
2.2 Investigate the data and information
relating to the Project and relevant to the
Works. Consider any reports relating to
the Works which are made available by
the client or others.
2.3 Establish with local and other authori-
ties as necessary, the general require-
ments of the project.
2.4 Agree with other members of the
design team preferred outline design
solution for the Project and provide any
Sketch Drawings or other documents
necessary to clarify Outline Design Pro-
posals.
2.5 Establish with other members of the
design team an agreed cost plan for the
Project as a whole: identify those ele-
ments relating to the Works and control
the subsequent design of the Engineer-
ing Services to meet the agreed cost
targets.
STAGE 33.1 Develop the Outline Designs and pro-
duce Sketch Drawings of structural plan-
ning requirements associated with the
Engineering Services showing locations
and approximate sizes of plant rooms,
major items of plant, major ducts and
service runs: also approximate weight of
any item affecting the structural design.
3.2 Assess and prepare schedules of
power, heating and cooling loads as
applicable, and confirm insulation and
glazing standards with the design team.
Review and update as necessary the
general considerations affecting the se-
lection of energy sources
3.3 Prepare a revised cost approximation
using the scheme design information, for
inclusion in the overall estimate prepared
by the design team.
3.4 Submit final scheme designs for
each of the Engineering Services to be
included in the Works, with associated
estimates, and collaborate with other
members of the design team in preparing
a report to the client for approval to pro-
ceed.

STAGE 44.1 Collaborate with other members of
the design team to ensure that the de-
signs of Engineering Services are devel-
oped in a manner compatible with struc-
tural and architectural concepts.
4.2 Negotiate with public and other utility
authorities for the provision of all neces-
sary incoming or outgoing services.
STAGE 55.1 Collaborate with other members of
the design team to ensure that Co-ordi-
nation Drawings of Engineering Services
are compatible with the structural and
architectural concepts.
5.2 Prepare specifications and final de-
sign Drawings for the Works.
5.3 Provide Builders Work Information to
the design team based on the final Draw-
ings and documentation, for inclusion
in the overall estimate prepared by the
design team.
5.4 Prepare a revised cost estimate using
the final design Drawings and documen-
tation, for inclusion in the overall estimate
prepared by the design team.
STAGE 66.1 Provide additional information to en-
able bills of quantities to be prepared
by the QS for the Works. Alternatively a
Breakdown of Tender will be prepared by
ourselves.
6.2 Advise the Client of suitability for the
execution of the Works, of firms selected
for competitive Tendering.
6.3 Assemble documentation and draw-
ing for issue to firms selected to Tender
and dispatch according to agreed pro-
gram.
6.4 Analyze the Tender received and give
recommendations for the Client’s accept-
ance.
6.5 Comment on the preparation of for-
mal sub-contract documents relating to
accepted Tenders for carrying out the
works, or any part thereof.

STAGE 77.1 Provide any further information if
needed to enable the Sub-Contractor to
prepare Installation Drawings.
7.2 Examine the Sub-contractor’s propos-
als for the execution of the Works, provid-
ed these reflect upon the design intent.
Advise the design team as necessary.
7.3 Collaborate with other members of
the design team in resolving any prob-
lems which may arise from the Sub-Con-
tractors Installation Drawings.
7.4 Make such visits to the site as nec-
essary to ensure that the Works are ex-
ecuted generally according to designs
and specifications, and in accordance
with good engineering practice. (For this
type of project, fortnightly visits should be
adequate).
7.5 Advise the design team for the need
to vary any part of the project for any rea-
son relating the Works.
7.6 Measure, assess or agree with the
Sub-Contractor the value of any varia-
tions to the works.
7.7 Provide technical information to the
Quantity Surveyor to enable Interim Valu-
ations of the Works to be made and cer-
tificates issued.
7.8 Value and advise the design team on
Interim Certificates for the Works in pro-
gress.
7.9 Examine the Sub-Contractors detailed
proposals for carrying out commission-
ing procedures and performance testing.
Advise the design team as necessary.
7.10 Examine, subsequent to setting the
work and regulation of the Engineering
Services by the Sub-Contractor, the re-
sults of his commissioning and the docu-
mentary records thereof.
7.11 Witness testing & commissioning
of the Mechanical & Electrical services
required.
7.12 Inspect the Works on completion
and in conjunction with site staff, record
any defects.
7.13 Receive and examine, on completion
of the Works, copies of Record Drawings,
Operating Instructions and maintenance
Schedules prepared by the Sub-contrac-
tor.
7.14 Provide Technical information to the
Quantity Surveyor to enable final Ac-
counts for the works to be agreed.
7.15 Assist in setting any dispute or dif-
ference relating to the Works which may
arise between the Client and the Contrac-
tor and/or the Sub-Contractor provided
that such assistance shall not be follow-
ing the taking of any steps for litigation or
arbitration.
