    Queens for the King

    May 2016

Reunited and it feels so good...

We are truly enjoying having Elizabeth home again with us in

South Africa. She will be staying with us and serving

alongside us all summer until she has to return to Lee

University in the fall. The Grove Level college guys’ mission

team was a blast. They were quick to share the gospel and

give a testimony anytime we asked. What a shot of

encouragement they were to our family! We still love our UK

interns. Watching them mature is pure joy. We look forward

to Brittnee Slaughter, the GLBC intern's arrival next week.

Come and see that the Lord is good!

    Bringing the Word

Thomas still is teaching at the

    Bible College every Wednesday

night in Northdale to the Indian

people group there. The topic has

    been on Christian leadership this

month. He also has been leading

    the Sweetwaters Bible study for

teens through the book of James

this month. We all rejoiced with

Zama when we heard she had

lead her mother to the Lord. We

danced with the angels that day!

    Sweetwaters Growth

Our Sweetwaters bible study still is growing steadily. We are excited

that 16 kids will attend the Secret Church conference with us at HiltonBaptist June 4. They are excited to learn about other world religions

and how to respond to the lost. Teaching this group is a highlight of our

    week.

    Bringing Sunday

    school to students

Every Tuesday, we get a chance

to teach a Bible story to the

    grade 6 class of Sibongumbomvu

    Combined School. About 27 kids

in that class, now get to

    experience a Sunday school

    lesson during their school day.

This month we taught on Joseph

    and jealousy and Moses stepping

out in faith. Who knew Joseph's

coat of many colors was polka dot

    and pink? HA

    Grove Level Mission Team

The team of Troy Poe, Dylan

Richards, and Triston Smith did a

    fantastic job presenting the gospel

to the Zulu people. They shared

their testimonies on house visits and

at kids clubs. They taught Bible

stories to the kids and patients.

They assisted in homework club after

school each day. Triston played the

guitar as we sang our hearts out at

the school. They built a much needed

fence at a day care sponsored by

Ethembeni. They also got to visit

    male prisoners and encourage them.

We really loved having this group of

    guys!

House Visit Volunteer Team We are excited at how our volunteer teams

are growing in number for house visits. We

have a good mix of Christians going out weekly

and sharing the gospel with the people of

Mphopomeni and Shiya. The group has folks

of all ages from 19-90! Also all races arepulling together to reach the people for

Christ. Pray the Lord keeps speaking through

    this group each week.

    Elizabeth's Summer

    Elizabeth is serving alongside us

    all summer. She taught the

story of Daniel and the lion’s

den her first week here onhouse visits. Her second week

    she taught the patients the

    story of Zacchaeus. She also

helps teach the bible story to

the grade 6 class each Tuesday.

It was great to have her lead

the hand motions to songs as

    Triston played on kid's club

days. Pray the Lord really grows

her in her faith this summer

    break.

Donuts Anyone? Jacob had an awesome

midterm break. He got totake a quick trip to Joburg in

    search of Krispy Kreme hot

donuts. They were as good as

    he remembers he said. He

also got to try his first

    Starbucks coffee. He is not

    a fan....He rode his first

    rollercoaster in Africa too-

    TWICE! When he isn't on

break, he is studying for his

    midterm finals or playing

    flanker for his rugby team.

He has to work those donuts

    off somehow...
