Interpretation for the Deaf
National Student Convention 2016
Song, 1 ½ min.
Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God.
Nothing is impossible when you’re trusting in His Word.
Hearken to the voice of God to thee,
“Is there anything too hard for Me?”
Then put your trust in God alone
and rest upon His Word.
For everything, oh everything,
yes, everything is possible with God.
(REPEAT)
Message, 1 ½ min.
We say that we believe that nothing is impossible for God, but then we act as if God’s arm has
suddenly become short. We all face things in life that we perceive to be impossibilities. We
face health issues in our lives or the lives of those we love. We are given a job to do that
seems much too hard. We have to finish a goal that makes us wish the day had 40 hours in it.
We say, “That’s impossible! Yes, in theory God can do anything, except
what I’m facing.” The obstacles seem too big. The clouds seem too dark.
Our fears overwhelm us and we believe all is lost.
In all our lives, in every difficulty, in every need, in every heart break, in all of life’s darkest
hours – God has another move to make that we could never have imagined. We need to
remind ourselves of those simple and amazing words spoken by the angel to Mary in Luke
1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
God always has another move. Nothing is impossible when you put your trust in the living
God!
