Abstract: Report from the First Quality Assurance Committee meeting at the University of Montenegro, 23-24 March 2017

On March 23 and 24, 2017, Re@WBC partners met at the University of Montenegro, the Rectorate building in Podgorica, to discuss the activities and the results achieved in the previous year.

The meeting was opened by the vice rector for international relations of the University of Montenegro, Prof. Maja Bacovic. After which, except for the colleagues from Coventry University who were not able to be present, all the partners discussed their performance, good and weak sides through detailed reports. This activity lasted the whole one working day and was followed by a lively discussion.

We were especially proud to hear about the University of Kragujevac, Serbia, which has received the label of the "Excellence in Research," which we consider the main aim of the project. The universities of Novi Sad, Sarajevo and Vlorawho managed to apply for the label in the course of the previous year are still to consider some minor changes in their

applications and reapply. Yet, those who did not have enough time andhuman resources to apply in the course of the previous year demonstrated their desire and efforts to achieve the same before the next deadline for applications.

The second working day was devoted to our dissemination activities. The project was not very lively in this part so far, because we were mostly focused on meeting the above mentioned demands. Yet, now, that some particular goals are achieved we can start a more active dissemination process. Apart from the exploited project's webapge - with which everybody is very much satisfied - the websites of the partner universities and a variety of info days, we workshopped possibilities of other dissemination venues that range from very formal to very informal. We also thought of how to present the project results so that they appear more meaningful and useful to our end users.

However, since our primary target are our researchers, we are of the opinion that many of our activities - like trainings - had two points to them: 1. they were to educate the target, but also 2. they functioned as dissemination for understanding, support, and action purposes.

There is a short summary of the activities which have to be done in the next several months:

Act. 3.1- Universities of Belgrade, Vlora, Montenegro and Kragujevachave to organize Seminars in order to reach the number of 100 researchers trained through these seminars. Please be aware that the deadline is 30.04.2017.

Act.3.2- Please fill out the questionnary which has been made by the UB by the end of this week.

Act.3.3, 3.5- By 30.04.2017 the University of Kragujevac will provide us with the presentations for the seminars which have to be organized by the end of June, 2017.

Act. 3.8.- We have to submit a chapter for the book by 30.04.2017.Act. 2.5- Please send the list of participants from your university for the trainings in Belgrade, Liege and Torino as soon as possible.

We have to consider some concrete actions that might be done at our university within activities 2.1,2.6,2.8 and 2.9.
