According to a report filed by Deputy Kristopher C. Byrd, Brittany Conrad, 21, of Hwy. 219, Huntingdon, advised that the back glass of her 1994 Chevrolet Silverado had been knocked out. The victim advised that she knows that the window was intact at 10 p.m. on March 11. The victim advised that when they arrived at the ATV shop on Hwy. 219 at around 4 p.m. on March 12, the back glass was shattered. The victim advised that she had been in an altercation with some people from Benton County over a dirt bike, but couldn’t prove that they had broken the window. --- Drug/Narcotic Violations A Camden man was arrested for drug/narcotic violations on March 12. According to a report filed by Deputy Eric W. Sawyers, the of- ficer observed a blue GMS pickup traveling east on Maytown Road and as the vehicle turned onto Green Valley Road it ran off the right side of the roadway and stopped. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver, Shawn Justin Agoo, 32, of Mission Rock Road, advised the officer that he did not have a driver’s license and that it was suspended out of Florida. Agoo reportedly gave deputies consent to search the ve- hicle. During the search, deputies allegedly found a small amount of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana inside a drink can. Agoo stated that the mari- juana was his and he was cited into General Sessions Court for driving on a suspended license and simple possession of Sch. VI. --- Theft From Motor Vehicle The trim was stolen from a Ford Explorer in McKenzie on March 5. According to a report filed by Deputy Michael R. Verner, Patricia Brown, 22, of Hwy. 43 Lane, called the department to report that someone took the trim off her Ford Explorer. The trim, which went over the right side fender, was on the vehicle when she went to town earlier. --- Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts or Accessories The tag was stolen from a ve- hicle in Huntingdon on March 11. According to a report filed by Deputy Michael R. Verner, Patricia Reed, 56, of Westport Road, Huntingdon, called the de- partment to report that someone took the tag off her vehicle with- out her permission. --- False Pretenses/Swindle/ Confidence Game A student loan was taken out in a Huntingdon woman’s name without her permission on May 11, 2010, and closed on January 12, 2012. According to a report filed by Investigator David L. Bunn, Hillary Moss, 23, of Hwy. 219, advised that she had gone to borrow money at FirstBank in Huntingdon, and when they ran her credit score, it was very low. Moss advised that unknown per- sons from FCDB-NPSL had put that she owed $22,342 to them on her credit report. This account was opened on May 11, 2010 and closed on January 12, 2012. Moss advised that this was a student loan from unknown persons and that she did have a student loan, but it was taken out in 1997 and was not for this amount. --- Driving Under the Influence and Violation of the Implied Consent Law. A Gleason man was arrested for driving under the influence on March 14. According to a report filed by Deputy Carlton Cupples, the officer observed a 2002 Toyota Tacoma on Hwy. 190 in Carroll County that had run off the road into a ditch. The driver of the vehicle, Gary Gurley, 48, of Wards Chapel Road, was unsteady on his feet and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Gurley refused to perform any sobriety tasks and also refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. He was charged with D.U.I., second offense, and trans- ported to the McKenzie Hospital emergency room where a manda- tory blood alcohol test was per- formed. Gurley did resist deputies with force at the emergency room and deputies used the amount of force necessary to restrain Gurley in an attempt to obtain a blood alcohol test. He was then trans- ported to the Carroll County Jail where he was charged with D.U.I. second offense and violation of the Implied Consent Law. --- Credit Card/Automatic Teller Machine Fraud A Buena Vista woman’s debit card information was used with- out her permission on March 15. According to a report filed by Sgt. Jackie Wallace, Shelly Leigh Maness, 30, of Spanish Grove Road, reported to the sheriff ’s de- partment that someone obtained her debit card information and made charges to her account which she did not authorize. As of this report, the unauthorized amount totaled $26.95. --- Dog Bite A Buena Vista man’s dog bit a four-year-old child on March 11. According to a report filed by Deputy Terry W. Dickey, he re- ceived a call from the Baptist Memorial Hospital emergency room regarding a dog bite. Upon arriving, the officer found that a four-year-old had been bitten by a Pit Bull on the side of his face, causing it to require sutures. The dog belonged to Kris Willis, of Buena Vista Rd. Palmer led his team in several categories including scoring aver-

age (15.0 points per game), steals, assists, free throws made, field goals attempted and was second in rebounds (6.4 rebounds per-game).

Sophomore Hardy led Bethel in rebounding averaging 7.9 boards per contest and was second in steals and third in assists. He averaged 13.0 points per game.
