What will you get out of this session?

Assessment is

Fair

An assessment system must not disadvantage or discriminate

Flexible

Ensures each learner’s assessment is:

• ‘done with’

not

• ‘done to’

Reliable

The assessment is interpreted and applied consistently:

• from person to person

and

• from context to context

Valid

A valid assessment will assess what it claims to assess.

A Prostrate check

– checks the prostrate!
