Position: Quant Associate – Finance & Strategy Practice
The Finance and Strategy Practice aims to hire Quant Associate, and is currently accepting applications. The selected incumbent will be part of the product team addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today’s senior-most finance member executives at leading, global corporations. The Finance and Strategy Practice provides excellent exposure to the full range of finance and strategy topics and provides the opportunity for Associate to develop further their understanding of financial concepts. Overall Job Purpose and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of a Quant Associate include the design and development of tools and surveys; collection, organization and analysis of data from external and internal databases;; automation of procedures and processes; and eventually the collaboration with CEB programs on a broad range of quantitative initiatives. These positions offer enormous opportunities for personal growth and achievement and, over time, provide personal exposure to many different programs across CEB.
Quant Associates will have many tasks and responsibilities, including:
Helping to develop key analysis and reports based on data/information from secondary sources. Launching member surveys and maintaining the accuracy and validity of the data Analyzing and interpreting data into charts and CEB-quality graphics Proof reading member-facing reports to ensure high quality and verify accuracy of data Coordinating with the DAT team in the U.S. to ensure timely delivery of quality reporting and services to
members

Education/Work Experience Have a strong analytic and statistical skills—both quantitative and qualitative and ability to distill data into
important, relevant ''so what's'' for senior managers Be quantitatively focused – a quantitatively-oriented Bachelors and/or Masters degree is preferred Have expertise in several software applications: Excel (including some understanding of pivot tables and
macros- (preferable, but not mandatory), PowerPoint, and SPSS-basic data aggregation techniques Have strong organizational/time management skills and proven competence for meeting deadlines and multi-
tasking under pressure Be self motivated/self starters–able to work with little direct supervision, but able to track and report on work
progress when needed Possess good upward management skills—able to help their managers prioritize; proactively identify areas
that require focus and bring them to manager’s attention Be results-oriented with an eye toward “getting the details right” – attention to detail is a must Have a deep commitment to service, both in serving internal programs and external members Strong oral and written communication skills, with particular attention to precision of language and ability to
