Note: There is a significant delta between budgeted costs and costs to date. This delta is a result of two factors: an

over estimation of how quickly spend on the project would ramp up when the budget estimates were put together in

July of 2016; and an assumption that Non-Federal (cost share) spending would constitute 47% of the budgeted spend

($5.9M) in the first year of the project. Cost share spending has been zero to this point. This delta will be addressed in

the new budget that has been submitted for approval to USDOT for years two through four of the project.

Notes:

A – The delivery date for the draft ConOps for all projects with the exception of the Multi-Modal Trip Planning Application (MMTPA) project was extended by approximately

eight weeks to allow for the incorporation of USDOT feedback on MMTPA. The delivery dates for the individual ConOps and their corresponding Walkthrough reviews are

reflected in the schedule and will be provided in separate calendar view. This update also had a similar 8 week impact to several related Systems Engineering deliverables,

including the System Requirements, Interface Control Documents, Site Map, Test Plans, Design Document, Human Use Approval, and the System Architecture and Standard

Plan.

B – Kickoff Meeting date with Independent Evaluator was revised, which impacts the deliverables related to the IESP.

C – Data Privacy Plan was adjusted approximately 3 months later as a result of 4 additional sprints being added to the IDE schedule.

D – The Performance Measurement Plan was affected by both the ConOps schedule changes as reflected in Note A above, plus additional time to allow further USDOT/IE

input into the draft.

E – The Safety Management Plan has been adjusted based on the development timeframe of other documents and discussions with USDOT.

F- Updated Communications and Outreach Plan to account for the actual final submittal and 508 compliance actual dates.

The narrative on schedule changes not directly impacting the Table of Deliverables.

1. Updated the Technical Working Groups to reflect any additional meeting dates and show status of completed items.

2. Updated the Communications and Outreach activities under Task G to reflect revised engagement strategy.

3. Removed extraneous tasks associated with the Transit Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) as a result of the decision by the local transit agency to proceed with the Trade

Study recommendations.

Risk Status

A summary of risks identified

The Risk log from June 2017 (end of 2nd Quarter) currently has 23 risks identified to varying threats to the

project with three sections. There are three overarching headers in the risk log; Risk Identification,

Qualitative Baseline Assessment, and Monitoring & Control. The Risk Identification section contains risk

identification by categories, individual project, and description. The Qualitative Baseline Assessment

weights the risk with the probability of occurrence, impacts to the schedule, and costs, and a ranking

calculated from it. Monitoring & Control has the status and associated notes.
