As Queens Head
regulars will know,
we do like to travel
the world with our
special themed
menus. This
month we cross
both the Channel
and Atlantic to
bring you some
great flavours from
around the globe.
We kick off pro-
ceedings on
Friday, Novem-
ber 21 and Saturday, Novem-
ber 22 with a return to our
popular two-day Vive La
France event with a delicious
French twist. Last years coq
au vin was a big hit but youll
have to come and see if it
makes a return to the two- and
three-course menus.
Once again, our restaurant will
adopt a bistro feel, and therewill be around the world ac-
tivities for our younger diners.
See our phone number over-
leaf to make a reservation.
On the following Thursday, we
join our American cousins in
giving thanks on the highlight
of the US holidays. Our spe-
cial Thanksgiving Supper
will feature turkey and all the
trimmings, homemade corn-
bread and pumpkin pie.
Things take a more homely
turn on November 30 when
we invite you to join us for
mince pies, mulled wine and
Christmas cookies while we
decorate our lovely inn at our
Deck the Halls event. And
because it is Advent Sunday,
any children dining with us on
that day will receive an Advent
calendar. On De-
cember 4 a t
5.30pm, we join our
good neighbours
from Chalke Valley
Stores for the excit-
ing Hub n Pub
community event to
mark the lighting of
the Broad Chalke
Christmas tree (see
overleaf for details).
Our festive party
menu is now avail-
able, so if you are
planning a family get-together, a
works Christmas do or a sea-
sonal meeting of old friends, why
not hold it in the cosy surround-
ings of The Queens Head?
Look out too for our Christmas
Daymenu - yes, we will be open
for lunch so you can enjoy the
day without the cooking and
washing up!
Other new events include our
Quiz Nights, the launch of our
Bridge Club and the screen-
ing of key BT Sports football
and rugby matches. Ask at the
bar for further details.

Our kitchen is rapidly gaining a reputation for fantastic
food at fabulous prices, and weve already received
praise for some of our special themed evenings.
Now we are offering hungry diners a special deal if they
want to sate their appetites in the evening - as long as
they order between 5pm and 7pm. Our new Early Bird
Supper promotion allows guests to select two courses
from our menu or specials board for just 12.95 per per-
son - although please note that some exclusions apply
to this offer.
This is a fantastic offer if you are thinking of attending
one of our regular events at The Queens Head, such as
our quiz nights, darts matches or bridge evenings, be-
cause it offers you the chance to indulge in our delicious
menu at a bargain price before you settle down to the
serious business of the competition in hand.
We strive to delight diners with locally sourced, home-
cooked food, so if you havent already sampled our
dishes, why not use this special offer to give them a try?
