What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? For my music magazine I picked IPC the reason for this is that I needed an international publisher because I wanted my magazine to be not only Europe based but worldwide based. Another reason is that IPC does not publish any other magazine like mine, this means I will have a better chance to fit in the market and I would not have a lot of completion.

Furthermore I chose IPC because they have a much known publishing company with a good business image and this will help my magazine. Because if I chose a publishing company with a bad business this will affect the selling of my magazine. That’s why I had to be very careful when I was choosing my magazine publisher.

In addition PLC does not publish any other magazine with my music genre this will give them more of a reason to accept publishing my magazine as it brings something new to the business, this can also benefit both of us; my magazine and the publishing company. Moreover they are one of the world’s biggest publishing companies this will help my magazine gain a high number of customers.
