I learnt that is it an active way to present information as the screen moves from bubble to bubble. I also learnt that you can insert clips and pictures, to add a visual element. I’ve used PowerPoint a lot in the past. However, I learnt that you can make a PowerPoint, then upload it to Slideshare, which then uploads to your blog. I did this a few times as I was familiar with PowerPoint. Therefore, I could produce presentations quickly and ensure that I was keeping good time management. I used YouTube to look at existing movie openings and to look at what makes an effective chick flick. This was also useful to see how film productions have added credits and their film title in. We used Sound cloud to get the music that we used for our soundtrack; ‘While I’m alive’ by STRFKR. We chose to use soundtrack as all the music on there are covers and therefore, downloadable without causing piracy. We used Adobe Premiere Elements to edit our opening movie sequence. We chose this media software as we had previously used it to edit our chase scenes and Prelims. However, we used more advanced features and experimented with different elements such as adding in a split screen, which was our biggest challenge. I now feel confident with the software and hope to use it again in future media products. We used Free Sound to get our sound effects such as birds chirping, an alarm and a girl screaming. We used google to find out anything that we were unsure of such as how to subtly fade in credits and how to fade out clips.

By having a blog, it was an effective way of keeping track of everything that we did along of planning, production and post production process. It also allowed me to experiment with different websites to produce a blog that was interesting and not just all writing.

When conducting my product I used a media application called Prezi, in order to make my work more creative.

We chose to use

soundtrack as all the music on there are covers and therefore, downloadable without

causing piracy.

We used Adobe Premiere Elements to edit our opening movie sequence. We chose this media software as we had previously used it to edit our chase scenes and Prelims. However, we used

more advanced features and experimented with different elements such as adding in a split screen, which was our biggest challenge. I now feel confident with the software and hope to use it again in

future media products.

We used Free Sound to get our sound effects such as birds chirping, an alarm

and a girl screaming.

We used google to find out anything that we were unsure of such as how to subtly fade in credits and how to fade out

clips.
