What is the QUESTT Residency Program?The QUESTT Residency Program is an alternative teacher preparation

program that serves current Fulton County School teachers who recently transitioned into the education profession from other fields.

to Current Issues in Education• Field Observations Throughout

QUESTT Program Goals

Candidate Support Team Each Candidate is assigned a Candidate Support Team (CST). The CST includes:•School-based Mentor Teacher•School Administrator•Professional Learning Facilitator•Content Specialist (if applicable)

The CST supports the Candidate by conducting observations with pre/post conferences, providing feedback on the Candidate’s progress throughout the program, and participating in a total of 3 CST meetings.

What is my Role on the Candidate Support Team (CST) during Program Year I?

School Based Mentor Teacher•Conducts 3 observations and pre/post conferences with Candidate•Commit a minimum of 50 hours of working with Candidate (Mentorship activities may include observations, instructional planning support, feedback, and guided reflection)

School Administrator•Conducts 1 observation and pre/post conferences with Candidate

Content Specialist•Provide content support (i.e., coaching, observations) as needed
