•Up to 4 inverters (1 WebConnect per inverter)
How it works
SMA Webconnect monitors the solar PV system output
Sends this information to a web interface, “Sunny Portal”.
Sunny Portal is connected to Solar Analytics online software
Solar Analytics compares measured vs expected output of the solar PV system
Faults are diagnosed and alerts sent out to installers and end user

A few simple steps.
1 Install WebConnect
Install the Webconnect Data Module into the inverter For the installation guide, see www.sma-australia.com.au/en. For a quick video
demonstration, see SMA’s YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/smasolartechnology Note: for TriPower 5000-9000TL-20 inverters, the Webconnect Data Module is already
installed in the inverter. There is no need to retrofit a Webconnect Data Module.
2 Connect to Sunny Portal
Run a network cable from at least one inverter to the user’s router Go to http://www.sunnyportal.com/register to register the solar PV system with Sunny

3 Connect to Solar Analytics In the Sunny Portal home screen, select the “User Management” option under “Configuration” in the left
menu pane. Select the “New User” button below the “User List” on the “User Management” page
Enter the email address [email protected] as a User (Standard) user and Save these settings.

4 Complete Registration to Solar Analytics
Go to PV System Properties in the Configuration menu.
Copy the PV System Identifier code and email to [email protected].
Go to www.solaranalytics.com.au/register and register your solar photovoltaic system details to complete the
system setup process.
