이지민 : 요즘 어떤 옷이 유행이에요? 외국인 친구에게 선물할 거예요.

직 원 : 이 파란색 티셔츠 어때요?

이지민 : 네, 좋아요. 좀 깎아 주세요.

직 원 : 그럼 2천원 깎아 드릴게요.

Jimin : What’s in style these days? I want to buy my foreign friend a gift.

Worker : How’s this blue t-shirt?

Jimin : Yes, I’ll take it. Can I have a discount?

Worker : I’ll take 2000 won off.

문법 Grammar

1. _____________에게

(사람이나 동물을 나타내는 명사의 뒤에 붙어) 행동의 대상을 나타낸다.

‘―에게’의 존댓말은 ‘―께’가 있다.

구어에서는 ‘―한테’를 자주 쓴다.

(Attached to end of a verb) This indicates the target of the action.

The formal form of ‘―에게’ is ‘―께’.

In colloquial speech ‘―한테’ is often used.

∙외국인 친구에게 선물할 거예요.

∙고양이에게 우유를 줘요.

∙어머니께 자주 전화를 드려요?

∙동생한테 이메일을 보냈어요.

2. _____________어 / 아 주세요.

(동작동사의 뒤에 붙어) 다른 사람에게 부탁할 때 사용한다.

ㅏ, ㅗ → ―아 주세요 ㅓ, ㅜ, ㅐ .... → ―어 주세요 하다 → 해 주세요

깎다 깎아 주세요 기다리다 기다려 주세요 노래하다 노래해 주세요

놀다 놀아 주세요 보이다 보여 주세요 일하다 일해 주세요

공손하게 말할 때 쓴다.

This is used when making the request politely.

Korean Apparel Stores

If you would like to shop for trendy clothes in Korea, you can visit the large fashion

departments at Dongdaemun(East Gate) or the traditional clothing market in

Namdaemun(South Gate). In Seoul’s Gangnam district’s designated special fashion zones of

Apgujeong and Cheongdam, you can find many personal clothing stores and streets filled

with shops related to fashion. Recently the number of Koreans purchasing clothes online

has been increasing and a lot of online shopping malls have formed online.

표시가 없는 곳에서는 주인과 옷값을 가지고 흥정을 해서 싸게 살 수 있습니다.
