PART I - Using Remote Login Program - DVRemoteDesktop.exe 1) Download “DVRemoteDesktop.exe” from http://cctv-sg.com/icatch.html or copy from the CD provided. You can also

download “DVRemoteDesktop.exe” from your Internet login address or use IE ActiveX to perform remote login. 2) Run “DVRemoteDesktop.exe” and login with the Address, Port, Username & Password provided. If you are

connecting over the internet, it may take 30-60 seconds for the connection to establish.

3) Main display screen functions as follows.

4) Right click on screen to bring up the System Menu. “Playback Search” & “Backup” are most commonly used.

Change between high and low quality video stream. High quality may result in low video frame rate if connection is not fast enough.

**NOTE** : To change admin & users password, go to “Setup” � “Main Menu” � “Account Setup”.

5) Time Search Playback – Enter Date/Time or use mouse to hold and drag red cursor to select time. Click “Ok” to

playback. During playback, use playback control buttons to forward or rewind video. Maximum forward/rewind speed is 64x, press “Play” button to resume normal speed playback, press “Stop” button to stop playback and go back to live mode.

6) Backup – Use to extract portion of important video for safe keeping purpose. In remote login mode, backup videos are

stored to the PC/laptop used for remote login. When doing backup at DVR main display screen, backup videos are stored to root folder of a Thumb Drive which must be inserted before running backup.

7) Playback Extracted Video Files – Backup files are in .irf format. To playback .irf files, locate the IRFplayer program “ifileplaypack.exe” in the CD provided and copy to any location on your PC. You can also download “ifileplaypack.exe” from http://cctv-sg.com/icatch.html. Click “Open” button and select the backup file to playback.

To convert .IRF files to .AVI files, use IRFtoAVI converter program “Irftool.exe” found in the CD provided.

PART II - Using Internet Explorer ActiveX Viewer 1) To perform remote login with Internet Explorer, go to the provide login address (e.g. http://testing.i-dvr.net:81) and login

with your username and password. Click on “Internet Explorer 6,7,8”. If you are viewing for the first time, you will be asked to install an ActiveX component, click “Install ActiveX Control” to install. Click “Ok” or “Install” if any confirmation prompt pops up.

IMPORTANT – If ActiveX control cannot be installed successfully, please change the following settings to allow installation of unsigned activeX. a) In Internet Explorer and go to “Tools” � “Internet Options”. Under “Security” tab, click on “Internet” then click

on “Custom Level” button. b) Look for “Download unsigned ActiveX controls” and change setting to “Prompt”. Then click “OK” button. Click

“Yes” when prompted for confirmation. Close Internet Explorer and start Internet Explorer again and repeat step 1.
