Fruit BasketFromthecollectionofSandraL.Hatch
Fabric baskets are favorites among quilters, as evidenced by the variety of
basket patterns created in the 1930s. The Fruit Basket design is known
by several other names, the most common being the Cake Stand.
The amount of quilting on this basket quilt shows that the person
who made this treasured heirloom loved to quilt.
