- - with gnarled and crowded branches;

- - leaves look like those of the apple tree but are thicker, broader and full of veins;

- - flowers are white or light pink coloured;

- - produces fruits, which are yellow when they are ripen and look like small apples or pears.

A few instructions for the using... Keletas patarimų naudojimui...

1. Cut and slice quinces. 1. Supjaustykite svarainius riekelėmis.

2. Squeeze the juice...or

...add sugar on the sliced quinces and wait until the juice will be distracted; then boil the juice for a while and dry the slices of the quinces in an oven... or

... put the sliced quinces in the water and boil them, then squeeze the juice and boil it again for the rich consistence.

2. Išspauskite sultis...arba

...užpilkite supjaustytus svarainius cukrumi, palaukite kol išsiskirs sultys, tada jas kiek pavirkite, o svarainius džiovinkite orkaitėje...

... supjaustytus svarainius užpilkyte vandeniu ir pavirkite, tada išspauskite sultis. Jas dar virkite, kol sutirštės.
