Qingdao, a beautiful seaside city, is located in the southeast part of Shandong Province. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Qingdao attracts many tourists with its charming seascape. Sights like the Ba Da Guan, the Zhanqiao Peer, Wusi (May 4th) Square, Mount Laoshan, will help you remember Qingdao. Just walking on the sand and listening to the surf breaking on the beach becomes enjoyable.

The red roofs, green trees, blue sea, and azure sky form a bright and colorful picture of Qingdao. The city is sometimes known as the Switzerland of the Orient.

In cooperation with the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, Qingdao held the Sailing Competition in the Olympic Games in 2008. This great event brings a great opportunity for this charming city to build its bright future.

In cooperation with the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, Qingdao will hold the Sailing Competition in the Olympic Games in 2008.

The 2008 Olympic Sailing Regatta was successfully held August 9th through the 21st at the Qingdao International Marina & Olympic Sailing Center with China winning its first gold medal in sailing.

Qingdao International Beer Festival Qingdao International Beer Festival was started in 1991 when the city was celebrating her 100th birthday. In the last decade, Qingdao International Beer Festival is becoming a large-scale state-level festive event for the people of the whole city.

Having beers as a medium, the festival promotes the friendship and economic cultural exchanges between people of Qingdao and others all over the world and also promotes Qingdao to the world front.

It is the large national festival combined with tourism, culture, sports, economy and trade. The theme slogan of the Beer Festival is Qingdao Toasts with the World! After 15 Beer Festivals, Qingdao International Beer Festival has gradually become a bright city name card of Qingdao-the beautiful seaside city, and has well-known reputation and influence in China and the world.

Mountain Lao Shan

Mountain Laoshan is located on the shore of the Yellow sea. The highest peak of Mountain Laoshan is 1,133 meters. Overlooking the sea, the mountain is characterized by the imposing canyon and undulating peaks and mystery mist.

Laoshan Mountain is said to be home of the "supernatural Spirits". It is the highest mountain along China's 18,000-kilometer-long coastline, as well as the only mountain whose peak is over 1000 meters along China coastline.

The present comprehensive university was merged by former Qingdao

University, Shandong Textile Engineering Institute, Qingdao Medical

College and Qingdao Teachers’ College in 1993.

Comprises of 25 colleges with 80 undergraduate programs, 115

master programs and 9 doctorate programs.

philosophy, law, economics, management, natural sciences,

engineering, medical science, education, etc.
