beautiful seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Benefiting from an incredible coastal backdrop and set
within a picturesque golf course, there really is no other venue with a location quite like us.
Privately owned and family run, we strive to extend our family warmth to the relationship we have with our
wedding couples.
The main house, built in rustic sandstone, was originally a farming coach house and provides the most
charming first impression for this truly special destination.
Opened in 1997 as a bed and breakfast for tourists and walkers visiting the local area, the potential of The
Arches as an events venue was realised after hosting a family wedding. Over the years we have worked
hard to deliver perfect weddings with a personal touch.

Your ceremony, we do.
Licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests, we have both The Garden Room and The Coach
House Room available to hire.
The ceremony room hire charge is as follows:
The Garden Room / up to 70 guests

(Please note we can accommodate slightly more guests in fair weather as seating can be placed outside).

As with all our wedding packages, we are here to work to your requirements and happy to discuss and
accommodate your needs wherever possible.
All details of your ceremony must be arranged through the registrar. The Arches Country House falls within
the Redcar & Cleveland Council Registry Office. Once you have provisionally held your date with us, please
be sure to confirm the registrar’s availability by calling 01642 444440.
Destination Package
Our “Destination Package” makes it easier for your friends and family to stay the night and enjoy breakfast together the following morning.
2021 - £900.00 2022 - £1000.00 2023 - £1100.00 2024 - £1200.00
For a total cost dependant on the year, this includes 10 bedrooms (accommodation for up to 20 guests) and the added enjoyment of our well known ‘Hangover Breakfast’ (consisting of breakfast buns with
bacon, sausage or egg, tea & coffee, selection of cereals). Additional non-residential breakfast guests can join you when pre-booked and at an additional charge of £10.00 per person.
Rooms 3, 4, 9 and 11 can accommodate additional guests (see allocation below), should more than 2 guests stay in these rooms, an additional charge of £15 per extra person, per night will apply.
If you choose to include the destination package as part of your wedding booking, then the amount of the package will be added to your invoice. The allocation of the rooms will be solely your responsibility, as will
the collection of payment from your guests. Any additional charges for extra beds or breakfast will be collected by the hotel upon check-in. We would provide you with a room allocation list which you would

need to hand in at your final details meeting. This list will be used for The Arches Country House to check-in your wedding guests on the event day.

Marquee
If you require any extra space for your wedding day or just fancy enjoying your big day outdoors, then why not consider hiring our beautifully decorated marquee.
Our marquee is big enough to seat up to 60 guests or alternatively will make an excellent dance floor for
your evening do. It is fully carpeted, has an electric supply and can be fitted out with tables and chairs as
required. We even have a pop-up bar available to compliment the use of the marquee.
There would be an additional charge for use of the marquee as detailed below.

Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days with no deposit. A booking form, signed agreement and deposit
are required to confirm your booking.

Events booked more than 12 months prior
• An initial non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure the booking.
• 12 months prior to the event, £1000 due.
• 4 months prior to the event 50% of the outstanding balance is due.
• 6 weeks prior to the event, Final Details Meeting & we require the final balance to be paid in full.
Events booked 3-12 months prior
• An initial non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure the booking.
• A further non-refundable deposit of 50% is required within 28 Days of confirming your date.
