I was filling up at a gas station when I noticed a spider right beside the driver's side door. He seemed super lost. He kept wandering in circles and waving his legs frantically in the air. The poor monster seemed like it was limping. He was having a hard time supporting himself enough to climb upwards -- he kept falling and sliding down the window. I looked closer and realized that two of this little guy's legs were missing. The poor demon was lost and badly hurt. My heart kind of went out to him.I debated killing him, or brushing him off of my car, but then I realized that he wasn't hurting anybody. He was just lost. Sure, the way spiders eat may be barbaric, and they look absolutely horrifying, but really -- they're just eating the way they know how, and they look the way they look. Spiders are just like any other creature. So I left this poor little amputee spider alone, and opened my door to find a cup lid or napkin or something to help him get off of my car and back into the wild.He ran at my face.He will be mourned. The moral of the story is everybody else's hypocrisy is inexcusable, but mine is okay.
