PATTERN INFORMATIONThis coat can be made in 3 differentlengths. It is made with buttons downthe front and the two longer modelshave a vent on each side.Back and front panels are workedseparately and seamed together. Sew shoulders together with Kitchener stitch.
SLEEVESFrom stitch marker, SM, measure 26 cm/10” down the back and front panel. From the RSpick up 24 sts tbl on each side of the SM.Decrease 1 sts in each side every 8 rounds until 30 sts remain.Continue until the sleeve measures 45 (45, 40, 40) cm/18” (18”, 16”, 16”) from the shoulderseam.
Bind off.
Work the second sleeve the same way.
COLLARPick up sts along the neckline with needles 8,00 mm (US 11) (= 48 (50, 50, 52) stitchesincluding the 4 stitches placed on each front piece).

Work back and forth until the collar measures 18 cm/7”.At the same time make buttonholes when the collar measures – 3, 6, 12 and 15 cm/1.2”,2.4”, 5” and 6”.(See buttonhole description above.)
FINISHINGFold the collar down so WS is facing outwards. Sew together each of the two short ends.Now turn the collar with RS facing out and sew into place from the WS.Sew around the buttonholes to make buttonhole 1 and 4 into one buttonhole and makebuttonhole 2 and 3 into one buttonhole.Sew coat together at the sides, vent on the long coat = 45 cm/18” and vent on the mediumcoat = 15 cm/6”. Sew the sleeves together and attach the buttons.
