In August Republican Women from NFRW Region 1 held a confer-
ence in Salt Lake City. Women from Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and
Idaho met at the Little America to learn and network. NFRW President Jody
Rushton, 4th Vice President Ann Schockett, and Region 1 Chair Carol Had-
ley attend. We heard from Congresswomen Mia Love, “Operation Under-
ground Railroad” founder Tim Ballard, and former Congressman and Author
Jason Chaffetz. Teri Duke, President of Kootenai County RW attended with
President Kitty Kunz and we feel very well informed. We hope more will be
able to attend next time.

We appreciate the everlasting memories that you gave us dur-ing the IFRW Legislative Days!
WOW, what a wonderful convention we just had in McCall. Thank you Valley Coun-
ty RW. You were great sponsors and we all enjoyed ourselves. We had wonderful work-
shops and accomplished a lot. We now have revised bylaws and standing rules. Both are
available from your Club Presidents or online at our website . Click on the button on the
homepage entitled News and Resources and you will find copies of important information.
We learned about Parliamentary Procedure, the IDGOP Data Center and Grass Roots Or-
ganizing, Increasing our Membership, and Social Media. We voted to donate $3,000 to
both Shari Ybarra and Janice McGeachin. We had visits and speeches from our Constitu-
tional Officers. The highlight of the convention events was the US First Ladies. Everyone
enjoyed hearing from each lady and learning about her story.
Then we elected our “dream team” Executive Board for 2019.
