ReThinking Ministry

My wife Ella and I in-vite you to join us as we seek God first in this calling. A calling that is progressive, yet very much obtainable by the grace of God.

TransForming the areas we are called to serve. The vocation of the minis-

try and the calling of the church are about transforming the lives of people and communities in which we are planted to do ministry.

ReCoveringthe richness of the church, realizing that Christ has re-deemed us from the curse of the law, thus, enabling us to engage in cutting edge ministry from a more relevant perspective by supporting and encouraging ministries with intentional efforts to fostering evangelization and disciple-ship in the AME Church.

ReVisioninghow we view and do ministry. Healthy congregations look toward growth, development, and the future rather than the past. Organizational life cycles run in about five to eight year segments and revisioning must take place to the end of each cycle or stagnation or death sets in. Revisioning does not throw out the proverbial baby with the bath water, but allows the AME Church to grow, to retool, and to meet the challenges of a changing world with intentionality.

ReNewing“And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2) Allowing God to do a new thing, an affirmation of the faith, gifts, energy, and fresh ideas of all people, especially our members forty and under. It is a Christ-Centered vision. A ministry and mission that have been given by the Lord Jesus.
