After submitting the application fee, the candidate will get the call from admission cell to fix an appointment for continuing with the admission procedure.

On the date of appointment, candidates will be required to bring the following documents:· Application Form or Application No.(In case of online application Form)· Original & copy of mark sheets of 10th, 12th and/or Graduation.· Original & copy of JEE/UPSEE/MAT/CAT/GATE or other qualifying examination Score Card· Copy of ID Proof (School or Driving license)· Original Registration Payment Receipt· 2 Passport size Photographs

Step I B Apply Online

· Candidates applying online through Rama University website will be routed for self application.· On successful application, an auto generated email will be sent to the candidate's email id, containing a link to set password.· On successful set of password, candidate's Email ID will be used as login ID and candidate can enter the information.· On successful filling of information, the system will generate an application number which will be candidate's unique identification number.· On Successful generation of application no., candidates will be directed to deposit application fee through payment gateways like Credit card/Debit Card/Net banking etc.· In case of failure to pay online due to technical or other reasons, a print of application can be taken and sent via courier with DD of Rs. 1000/-

Candidates who qualify the minimum eligibility will be required to appear for an online test, skype interview to examine the problem solving ability, academic knowledge, analytical skills and the language proficiency of the candidate.

After test and GD/PI, successful candidate's merit list will be uploaded on Rama University website as well as candidates will be notified through email on candidates email filled in application form.

If selected, candidates can deposit the fee through Cash/DD at Rama University campus or through payment gateways like Credit card/Debit Card/Net banking etc. within 10 days of the announcement of selection.

The candidate is then required to Report and Register himself/herself in the Registrar office.

The Rama University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur was established and incorporated under the Rama University Uttar

Pradesh Act, 2013 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 2014) as passed by the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. The said Act was

published in State Official Gazette, Extra-ordinary, dated Jan. 10, 2014 and has come into force with immediate effect.

After fulfilling the required conditions laid down by the Act, the Government of Uttar Pradesh was pleased to issue the

“Letter of Authorization” for the commencement of the functioning of the Rama University on Jan. 24, 2014. The

University Grants Commission, the Apex Central Regulatory Body for the Universities, has recognized the University

under section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 vide it's letter no. F-8-5/2014 (CPP-1/PU), dated

April 07, 2014. The University is empowered to provide education, instruction and training in such branches of learning, as it

determines from time to time and to make provisions for research and for the advancement and dissemination of

knowledge and skills. It is also empowered to grant diplomas or certificates and to confer degrees etc. in concerned

courses conducted by the University as provided under section 22 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

The University has the powers to establish and maintain campus, constituent colleges, schools, institutions, centres,

hospitals, research centres, laboratories, departments and other units for research and instructions necessary for

furtherance of its objects. Admission to various academic programmes are to be made by the University.

I- Nature & Course Content

The test will be of multiple choice containing 120 questions on following subjects/topic in single question Booklet:-

(a) General English: 20 questions will be asked of the level of 10+2 standard. The test will comprise of English Grammar

to test the ability of candidate in paragraph comprehension, sentence correction, word power, (meaning, synonym, antonym) and tense etc.

(b) General Knowledge & Numerical Ability: 20 questions will be asked to test the knowledge of candidate in day to day

national, international affairs (political, sports, development in field of science & technology), eminent personalties etc.

(c) Subject: 80 questions will be asked to test the basic knowledge of subject of qualifying exam.

II- Filling of OMR sheet:

(a) The candidate will be provided OMR answer sheet along with question booklet in the examination hall. (b) The OMR sheet will have to be filled in by using blue or black ball pen.The specimen is given on given on page no. 23.

III- Duration of test:

The test will be of two hours duration.

IV- Venue & Date of Test:

The test shall be held in following city/centres:

V- Disqualifying & cancellation of candidature:

1. The candidate found indulged in copying/cheating or using unfair means in any way including unauthorized use of electronic gadgets etc, shall be disqualified in the test & his/her candidature shall be cancelled. The candidate is also expected to behave in well manner. 2. The candidate shall be required to be frisking before entering into the examination hall. 3. No candidate shall be allowed without valid Admit Card. Mobile and electronic gadgets will be strictly prohibited.

Rama University Entrance Test (RUET) is a national aptitude test, for the aspirants for courses offered by Rama University. The

entrance test is mandatory to get admission in RAMA UNIVERSITY. For different courses there are different test dates. Kindly

INSTRUCTION/GUIDELINES FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM FOR THE ADMISSION ENTRANCE TEST

FILLING OF APPLICATION & ADMIT CARD

Please check the following before dispatching your complete Application form.

The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination & awaiting their result, may also apply for Entrance Test. However, they will be considered for provisional admission only subject to securing minimum Eligibility mark as prescribed and on production of original pass marks sheet & certificate at the time of Counseling/Admission, failing which his/her candidature shall lost automatically. University reserves the right to start any new course or may close any course. Use blue or black ball pen for filling form.

Centre Name, Faculty Code & Course Code : While filling up the form write Course Name, Course Code & Faculty Name, Faculty Code & Centre Name.

Personal details : Do not miss out entering personal details e.g. Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Mailing address, Date of Birth, Category, Sub-category, etc.

Date of Birth : As mentioned in High School/equivalent Certificate.

Photographs : Paste your photograph at the space indicated in the form, carefully. Enclose one additional passport size photograph with the Print out so that same could be used in issuing duplicate admit card in case of non receipt of the Admit Card by the candidate. Please use all similar photographs. Do not staple the photograph, avoid side angles of photograph, use front pose only. Please also write your name and form number on the back of additional photograph.

Signature : Put your signature at the space indicated in the form.

Roll Nos. will be allotted by the University on your admit card. Requisite Documents : Attach self attested copies of marks sheet and certificates as a proof of eligibility and qualifications.

Envelopes : Ensure to write the Faculty Code, Course Code & Test Centre Name on the cover of the envelope to be used to send the duly filled application form.

The duly filled-in application form and admit card shall be sent on following address:- The Entrance Cell, Rama University,Rama Medical College Campus,Rama City, Mandhana, Kanpur (U.P.)- 209 217.

The duly filled in forms may also be deposited in the office in working hours.

The last date of receipt of application form along with requisite fee proof is mentioned in the Entrance Test schedule printed on back cover page. The last date of receipt of application form along with late fee Rs. 200/- (Two hundred) is Date (Two days before the Test date*).

Admit Card: Candidate will fill all entries in the admit card except Roll No.Duplicate admit card will be issued at the centre with of cost Rs. 50/-.

*Candidate, who will submit their Application with late fee, their Test centre will be at University Campus only. *The Candidate should know that 'RAMA UNIVERSITY' runs full time courses only. Therefore, the student is enrolled only in RAMA UNIVERSITY in duration of the course and not elsewhere. If student is found enrolled simultaneously in any other institution/ University, he/she will be doing at his own responsibility for which RAMA UNIVERSITY will not be responsible for any legal complication arising thereof.

Candidate will have to deposit his/her annual fees of the course at the time of counseling/admission.

The candidate must read all the information/ instructions updates available on the Website or in the brochure.

At the time of admission, the Parent/Guardian of the candidate must be present along with the candidate at the time of counseling/admission.

University reserves the right to run the course or may close the course on the basis of viability. In some compelling situation, the University may allow the change of course to the candidate. Candidate, securing merit, but fails to deposit the course fee, may loose his/her candidature.
