R44 RAVEN II DETAILS

R44 Raven II helicopters are simple andenjoyable to fly. The R44 Raven SeriesHelicopters provide excellent reliability,responsive handling, and altitudeperformance, making the R44 the idealhelicopter for private, business, and utilityapplications. The high performance R44Raven II has a Lycoming IO-540 fuel-injected, angle-valve, tuned-inductionengine, which eliminates the need forcarburetor heat. R44’s are equipped with a two-bladed rotorsystem, which makes storing them insidesignificantly easier than a multi-bladesystem. The R44 has a 1 pilot + 3 passengercabin configuration with unobstructedviews from every seat. The lightweight airframe and aerodynamicfuselage optimize airspeed and fueleconomy. The helicopters’ low tail-rotor tipspeed, heavy-duty muffler, and largecambered tail reduce flyover noise. In a complex aviation environment,Robinson has done an excellent jobkeeping this helicopter simple, economicaland enjoyable.
