WHAT IS THIS ABOUT? Annual race for the cure is an

organization of a 2 kilometers long walk and 5 kilometers of race

WHY DO THIS? • Raise awareness about the problem of breast

cancer • Send the message that cancer is not invincible • Raise funds in order to help young women (20-

39 years old) diagnose breast cancer in an early stage

• Give to 1500 women with economical problems the possibility to be examined for breast cancer for free, with the co-operation of the Greek Breast Surgical Company

SOME HISTORY… • 4th year in a row in Greece • Organised in more than 140 cities around the

world within the last 29 years by the American Organization of Suzan G. Comen for the Cure
