Dr B Foran

Dr Foran is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based at Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield. She specializes in the non-surgical (radiotherapy & chemotherapy) management of Head & Neck and Skull Base cancers. Her particular interest is in the technological developments of radiotherapy such as intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) which can result in improved outcomes for patients requiring intensive radiotherapy for head & neck and Skull Base cancers. She is very active in clinical research and is the Principal Investigator in a number of important H&N clinical trials. Dr Foran qualified from the University of Sheffield Medical School in 1994. Following general medical training she undertook specialist training in Clinical Oncology in Sheffield.She was appointed Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in 2003.
