We are a small workshop located in Moscow, Russia, producing signature buckles and belt straps for those who love motorcycle culture

and value fine craftsmanship.

Rags & Gents was founded in 2016 by Vasily Kostin and Max Tatarinov – motorcycle enthusiasts with many years of riding under their belts. Motorcycle culture has been a source of never ending inspiration for both Vasily and Max. Their work celebrates the designers, artists, engineers, bike builders, photogra-phers, racers, travelers and riders – everyone who has helped create the true legacy of motorcycle culture.

The Buckles – With designs inspired by the legends of the motorcycle world, our buckles are manufac-

tured to perfection from sterling silver and bronze. From the beginning pencil sketches to the last strokes of a polishing brush, all work is performed in our workshop by Rags & Gents craftsmen – nothing is outsourced.

The Belts Straps – Made of thick leather and im-printed with vintage motorcycle tire patterns, these straps will serve you forever – aging to perfection with each passing year. Cut, died and embossed in our workshop, the belts then are permanently sewn to the buckles becoming a unique, integral part of the wearable jewelry

The Belt Strap

Made of thick leather and imprinted with vintage motorcycle tire patterns, these straps will serve you forever – aging to perfection with each passing year. Cut, died and embossed in our workshop, the belts are then permanently sewn to the buckles becoming a unique, integral part of the wearable jewelry.

Indian Motorcycle

This design is inspired by the vintage Indian motorcycle horn cover,

the belt strap design repeats the vintage tire pattern. The design of this horn cover had been used by the factory from 1940 till 1945.

“HANDCRAFTED IN RUSSIA” on the back. Mirrored polished on both sides. All letters and other curved areas of the buck-le are covered by a patina after being polished and re-polished again by hand. You will never find any cracks, caverns or spongy areas on the surface

of the buckle. The belt straps are imprinted with the vintage Indian Motorcycle tire pattern.

The sterling silver buckle is only available with the black belt strap. The buckle and belt are sewn together. Our belts are available in typical sizing options.

Forty Eight

This design is inspired by the vintage Indian motorcycle horn cover,

the belt strap design repeats the vintage tire pattern. The design of this horn cover had been used from 1948 till 1953.

This buckle is available in ster-ling silver only. All letters on the other side of the buckle are

properly cast, including our logo - not laser engraved.

We use laser only for applying the individual number of the buckle and the inscription “HANDCRAFTED IN RUSSIA” on the back.

The design of this buckle is inspired by the vin-tage motorcycle horn

cover from the 30’s and 40’s and the belt strap design re-peats the vintage tire pattern.

The buckle is available in ster-ling silver or bronze.


All letters and other inner sur-faces of the buckle are finished with patina after polishing. You will never find any cracks,

caverns or spongy areas on the surface of our buckles.

The belt straps are embossed with a vintage tire pattern.

The silver buckle is only available with a black belt strap; the bronze buckle with a brown belt strap. Please

note that there can be a small variation in the color of brown belt straps due to hand-dying techniques.

Manx

This buckle is dedicated to all the people who have contributed to the

history of the oldest and cra-ziest race in motorcycle racing – The Isle of Man TT race.

The buckle is available in sterling silver or bronze. The outside ring is mirror-polished on both sides. All prominent details of the Triskelion are

polished as well. The letters on both sides of the buckle are cast - not laser engraved.


All letters and other inner sur-faces of the buckle are finished

with patina after polishing. You will never find any cracks, caverns or spongy areas on the surface of our buckles.

The belt straps are embossed with iconic vintage Firestone tire pattern.

The silver buckle is only available with a black belt strap; the bronze buckle with

The Enthusiast

The buckle is inspired by a vintage motorcycle horn cover that was

popular in the 30’s and 40’s in the USA; the design of the belt strap is inspired by the iconic vintage Firestone tire pattern. It is the biggest and heaviest

buckle in our collection. This buckle is only available in sterling silver with a black belt strap imprinted with vintage Firestone tire pattern. Mirrored polished on both sides. All letters on the other side of the buckle are properly

cast, including our logo - not laser engraved.


All letters and another curves of the buckle are finished with patina after being polished and re-polished again by hand.

Liberator

The design of this buckle is inspired by the vintage military Harley

Davidson WLA 42 motorcycle horn cover and the belt by its tire pattern. The name Libera-tor had been given to the bike during WWII by Europeans who greeted American troops.

The buckle is available in sterling silver or bronze. The

outside ring is mirror-polished on both sides. All prominent details of the Triskelion are polished as well. The letters on both sides of the buckle are cast - not laser engraved.

We use laser only for applying the individual number of the buckle and the inscription “HANDCRAFTED IN RUSSIA” on the back. This particular

buckle also has the word “LIBERATOR” written on the side which is also applied with laser.

All letters and other inner sur-faces of the buckle are finished with patina after polishing. You will never find any cracks, caverns or spongy areas on the surface of our buckles.

The belts are embossed with iconic vintage Firestone tire pattern.

The silver buckle is only available with a black belt strap; the bronze buckle with a brown belt strap. Please note that there can be a small variation in the color of brown belt straps due to hand-dying techniques.

with cutting-edge casting machines and high-quality hand tools. Our specialty equipment is made in the USA, the UK and Switzerland.
