Plants
• The rain forest is home to a wide variety of plants such as Bengal Bamboo, Durian, and Jambu
• There are layers of the rain forest growth such as canopy layer,, shrubs layer, and herb layers
• These plants are generally covered in epiphytes which are plants that roots grow above ground and are supported by another plant
Animals
• Animals include a wide variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles.
• Animals include the Red Eyed Tree Frog, Three Toed Sloth, Toucan, and the Leafcutter Ant.
Commercial Value
• Large area for farming
• Many plants have medical value and are medical used in many medicines
• Trees in the rainforest can be used to make lumber for building stuff
