2015 is a special year for Rainbow Cosmetics as we celebrate our 25th company anniversary. When the business started in June 1990 it grew quickly as a result of building a solid reputation for providing outstanding customer service. A commitment that continues to be at the heart of everything we do.

The Rainbow brand portfolio experienced exceptional growth in 2014, up 34% on the previous year; the success largely a result of the new Style & Grace collections PURO and Utopia and the introduction of celebrity Lucy Mecklenburgh as the face and body of our Sunkissed bronzing beauty brand.

In 2015 we will look to consolidate and continue to grow with the launch of Skin Expert, our first range designed exclusively for men and Bubble Boutique an effervescent and fun range targeting a younger female audience. Both collections will be launched under the Style & Grace banner and will sit alongside the increasingly popular collections: Style & Grace Signature, Spa Collection, Utopia and PURO.

Following on from the positive impact resulting from working with Lucy Mecklenburgh we have also signed her sister Lydia to represent the brand and launch four new tanning lines. We have also teamed up with celebrity MUA and Tanbassador Cinta Miller who will be working with us on a number of events and videos.

In September an exciting new Sunkissed gift collection ‘Moroccan Escape’ will be available for Christmas and the everyday range has been rationalised and redesigned to capture year round gift purchasing, which will be available from May. We continue to develop and introduce new lines into the Active Cosmetics Collection. Our hero line tipped for big success in 2015 is the Active Advent Beauty Calendar which, as a pre-Christmas item, will present an opportunity for incremental sales.

In 2015 Sunkissed will launch four new and innovative tanning products that will continue to consolidate the brand’s position as one of the fastest growing bronzing brands on the high street.

The Instant Tanning Gel is the first tan created to work with your skin’s natural tone to deliver the most natural looking bronze colour; it is available in Cool and Warm Skin shades. Another Sunkissed first to market is the Double-Sided Application Mitt, with patented barrier technology on both sides, you can say goodbye to leaks and stained hands forever. Our final new product to the Sunkissed range is the Rapid Tan, a fast acting formula which tans skin in just 60 minutes.

The launch will be supported by our brand ambassador Lucy Mecklenburgh who is joined by her model sister Lydia, for a sensational photo shoot. The girls will be actively promoting the brand through a number of events and an integrated digital and PR campaign that will be handled by leading PR agency Brandnation.

Joining the Sunkissed promotional team in 2015 is Professional Makeup Artist and Tan Expert Cinta Miller. Cinta has a wealth of experience working with Cosmopolitan, Grazia and London Fashion Week as well as a number of celebrity clients.

In June, the new Sunkissed everyday gift range will launch. The collection consists of seven formats in total. They have been designed to work alongside the everyday bronzing cosmetics collection offering retails from £4.00 - £12.00 that are perfect as a gift or treat item.
