Informed by research and guided by the philosophy that “an exquisite design will make a memorable story,” RainClock™ deals with the process of converting renewable bio-resources into useful and valuable products. Sustainable, simple and beautiful, RainClock™ is deliciously airy, and inhabits an enchanting world where 'nature' and 'technology' intersect. Its delicately moulded raindrops conjure up a surreal thunderstorm, to illustrate how 'telling the time' can combine 'bio-inspiration' and the less obvious facets of design. Temporality and endurance are bound together in Rain™ Clock as water drops fall, becoming larger and flattened; living entities driven by energy, the droplets coalesce, that is, 'fuse' together colliding and accumulating to create 'rain'.TRANSCRIPT
