Our ra inwater harvest ing garden system is designed for the gardener to col lect , f i l ter and store ra inwater with in an underground tank for a l l garden i rr igat ion purposes.

A must for ser ious garden users, provid ing invaluable re l ief dur ing hosepipe bans as wel l as reducing water b i l ls .

When stored underground and f i l tered effect ively , the ra in water captured remains c lean and fresh. The only v is ib le part of the system is a l id at ground level , so no aesthet ic appeal of your garden is lost .

Included in our garden system is our Br it ish manufactured HydroForce™ submersib le pump. This can easi ly del iver 3.5 bar pressure, making i t sui table for h igh pressure spr inklers, garden water ing, car washing, and even pressure washing. The pump features pressure sensit iv i ty , making i t start when water is demanded, then automat ical ly shut down thereafter . This means there is no switching the pump on and off after each use.

Rainwater harvest ing systems are s impler and more cost effect ive than ever to insta l l . Shal low dig tanks have dramat ical ly reduced digging effort and the amount of earth removed. Systems have evolved to become s imple and eff ic ient to operate.

Our ra inwater harvest ing direct feed system is designed for the home owner to col lect , f i l ter and store ra inwater with in an underground tank for both domest ic and garden i rr igat ion purposes.

Rainwater is c lassed as non-potable, a l lowing water to be used for to i lets and washing machines. Together with garden use, th is equates to around 50% of a domest ic water b i l l .

In th is system, water is fed direct ly f rom the submersib le pump in the underground tank to each appl iance.

Due to the submersib le pump featur ing pressure sensit iv i ty , whenever a to i let is f lushed, the pump wi l l register a drop in pressure, then pump unt i l the c istern is fu l l and automat ical ly switch i tsel f off again.

Should the ra inwater tank ever run dry in drought per iods, the system is provided with a mains water backup - the Rain Backup in a Box®. The system uses a level sensor in the tank to open a solenoid valve with in the control uni t to a l low around 200L of mains water to enter the tank.

The mains water back up device used in our d irect feed system is designed to del iver a smal l amount of mains water to ensure a l l domest ic appl iances are kept fu l ly funct ioning dur ing t imes when the underground ra inwater tank has insuff ic ient water due to lack of ra in fa l l .

Our innovat ive low energy ra inwater harvest ing system, specif ied to near ly a l l customers when a smal l header tank can be s i tuated in a loft space.

The system works by pumping from the underground tank, through a control uni t , into a Smart Header Tank with in the loft space. Water is then gravi ty fed to to i lets and washing machines.

The Rain Director® has huge benef i ts over tradit ional systems. Most systems start and stop the pump every t ime the to i let is f lushed, meaning the pump cycles 15-20 t imes per day.

The Rain Director® uses 6-8 t imes less energy than a tradit ional system by completely f i l l ing the Smart Header Tank, then not using the pump again unt i l the Smart Header Tank is empty. This reduces pump cycles to around 1-2 per day, and therefore great ly reduces energy consumption and pump ware.

Should ra inwater ever run low in the underground tank, the system automat ical ly registers and del ivers mains water d irect ly to the Smart Header Tank. This means your to i lets wi l l work in every eventual i ty- low ra inwater, pump fa i lure or even power cut .

The system also features inte l l igence such as a “Mains Water Mode” to d ivert the home onto mains water , so ra inwater can be conserved for the garden i f hosepipe bans are being introduced.

Unl ike any other gravi ty feed system, the Rain Director® also features a “Hol iday Mode” recycl ing the water in the loft space every 3 days to prevent stagnat ion.
